PE2 supports Daikin’s training event for energy-efficient product line

QUEZON CITY, 22 March 2022 – The Philippine Energy Efficiency Alliance (PE2) actively supported its member company, Daikin Airconditioning Phils. (DPH) and its premier training center, the VRV* Open School, by attending the VRV Solutions Seminar 2022 event held earlier today at The Blue Leaf Cosmopolitan in this city.

Manifesting PE2’s support to market stakeholder education on energy-efficient cooling technologies, PE2 trustee and corporate secretary Richard Henrick I. Beltran and PE2 member services and communications manager Luigi G. Eusebio met DPH president Takayoshi Miki and DPH senior consulting sales engineer Benjamin Andre Capobianco during the training event.

The VRV Open School was opened in July 2021 by DPH with a mission to broaden the working knowledge of air-conditioning professionals in the local construction and energy efficiency industries on the proper application of Daikin’s VRV systems and related cooling technologies involving precision piping, heat reclaim and smart controls.

When Daikin launched the VRV air conditioning system in 1982, it introduced the world’s first use of variable refrigerant flow control. This technology circulates only the minimum amount of refrigerant needed at any one time and enables individual climate control of air conditioning zones.

*Note: The Daikin trademark “VRV” was derived from “variable refrigerant volume.”
