The Philippine Energy Efficiency Alliance (PE2) hopes that a new energy efficiency law in the Philippines sends a strong market signal to enable 182 Mtoe in energy savings, 9 million jobs, 1.7 GtCO2e in GHG emission reduction, and 45,900 MW in deferred energy infrastructure capacity upgrades, all through USD 243 billion (PHP 12 trillion) in energy efficiency capital flows and project implementation in the next 20 years.
