PE2 firms join PH delegation to SelectUSA summit
NATIONAL HARBOR, MD, USA, 3-6 May 2026 – Philippine Energy Efficiency Alliance (PE2) member representatives joined a Filipino delegation which took part in the 2026 SelectUSA Investment Summit.
Through the invitation of U.S. Commercial Service, PE2 member companies Calvelo Engineered Systems, First Philec and iONTEK Power Solutions participated in the 3-day event which is held annually at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland, USA.
The SelectUSA program catalyzed $56 billion+ in new and planned investment commitments, including a record $2.5 billion in announcements made during the Summit and tens of billions more in ongoing and planned investments and welcomed 5,500+ attendees from a record 100+ international markets and included 1,100+ economic developers from all 55 U.S. states and territories.
SelectUSA is the U.S. federal government program dedicated to attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) in the U.S. The 2026 SelectUSA Investment Summit is the premier event for FDI promotion. It is open to all types of businesses from high-growth tech startups, SMEs, to large and multinational companies. It caters to foreign businesses that are looking to establish U.S. operations for the first time or those with existing operations and are planning to expand their presence. It provides opportunities for companies to develop and accelerate their strategies with actionable guidance from policy and industry experts through 100+ sessions on various topics. It is also a platform for businesses to meet with economic development organizations and potential partners.
During the week of the summit, the Philippine Embassy in Washington DC hosted a dinner reception for the Filipino delegation.
