PE2 head convenes 4th APEIA Meeting in Singapore

SINGAPORE, 31 October 2019 – Philippine Energy Efficiency Alliance (PE2) president Alexander Ablaza, in his capacity as co-chair of the Asia-Pacific ESCO Industry Alliance (APEIA) convened earlier today the Fourth APEIA Meeting in the offices of host organization, Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS).

PASAY CITY, 24 October 2019 – Philippine Energy Efficiency Alliance (PE2) president Alexander Ablaza accepted the invitation of Trade and Industry Secretary Ramon M. Lopez to serve as one of the award presenters in the 7th Regional Competitiveness Summit, which was held earlier today at the reception hall of the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC).

PE2 trains more hotels and resorts on EE in 3rd DOT-PCEPSDI seminar

MAKATI CITY, Philippines, 18 October 2019 – A new batch of hotels and resorts received energy efficiency (EE) training from the Philippine Energy Efficiency Alliance (PE2) in the third capacity building seminar held earlier today under a Department of Tourism (DOT) program implemented by the Philippine Center for Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development, Inc. (PCEPSDI). The seminar was conducted earlier today in the DOT Makati office.

CEBU CITY, 16 October 2019 – After a successful kick-off event in Pasay City on 19 September 2019, the Philippine Energy Efficiency Alliance (PE2) once again supported earlier today the Philippine Green Building Council (PhilGBC) in reaching out to green building market stakeholders in Mandaue and Cebu, by promoting awareness on the newly passed Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EE&C) Act, and the availability of off-balance sheet financing opportunities, such as energy service company (ESCO) performance contracting.

PASIG CITY, 10 October 2019 – The member companies of the Philippine Energy Efficiency Alliance (PE2) gathered earlier today for its semi-annual General Membership Meeting (GMM) at the Meralco Lighthouse. Sponsored by its active regular members, Meralco and MServ, the GMM was preceded by a special meeting of the PE2 Board of Trustees, which started to discuss potential impacts of ongoing legislation in support of incentive rationalization under the Government’s comprehensive tax reform program on the fiscal incentives granted under Republic Act No.

TAGUIG CITY, 23 September 2019 — The Philippine Energy Efficiency Alliance (PE2) submitted to Secretary Alfonso G. Cusi of the Department of Energy (DOE) earlier today its third position paper on the sixth version of the draft Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act No. 11285, more commonly known as the Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EE&C) Act.
