Energy Efficiency Day 2024 (EE Day 2024) Philippines

Home

What PE2 is convened for

The Philippines needs to tap the combined strengths of private sector and civil society market stakeholders to help the country effectively achieve its energy efficiency and conservation roadmap targets, accelerate the decarbonization of the economy through low-carbon energy use, create green jobs, slow the rise in energy prices, generate energy end-use savings across sectors, reduce dependence on imported energy, and help the country meet its Paris climate agreement obligations.

Contribute

To contribute to the Philippines’ efforts toward its long-term energy intensity reduction, annual final energy demand reduction, and greenhouse gas emission avoidance targets through the accelerated deployment of energy efficiency (EE), energy conservation (EC) and renewable energy (RE) technologies across various energy end-use sectors and other market segments.

Accelerate

To accelerate the transformation of the energy market toward low-carbon EE, EC and RE technologies through barrier removal, policy reform, knowledge sharing, capacity building and other market interventions.

Catalyze Investments

To catalyze investments from both the public and private sectors in projects utilizing EE, EC and RE technologies through policy reform, financial mechanisms, and other market interventions.

Convene and Collaborate

To convene and represent the interests of the Energy Service Company (ESCO) industry especially in collaborating with Government for the promotion of ESCO performance contracting and for regulatory concerns such as ESCO accreditation.

Represent

To convene and represent the interests of other EE, EC and RE market stakeholders which include, but not limited to, technology and solutions providers, EPC contractors, service providers, consultants, investors, financiers, financial institutions, commercial and industrial end-users, and large EE, EC and RE program implementing entities.

Engage

To generate green opportunities in the market.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY DAY 2024

RESPONDING TO THE GLOBAL CALL TO DOUBLE ENERGY EFFICIENCY ON THE ROAD 2030

20 MARCH 2024 | WEDNESDAY
HALL F3, 2ND LEVEL, SMX CONVENTION CENTER, MALL OF ASIA COMPLEX, PASAY CITY

The global community clearly supported the call to double energy efficiency progress through 2030 in the recent COP28 meetings. Can the Philippines respond to this call? Can the country quickly mobilize energy efficiency investments to accelerate the reduction of energy intensity of the national economy?

Energy Efficiency Day 2024 is the fourth edition of PE2’s annual event to engage a whole-of-society response toward mainstreaming energy efficiency as the economy’s first fuel.

Hear champions from the private, government and development sectors share their views on the country's pathway toward a net zero future through scaled-up energy efficiency deployment across all end-use sectors.

The Energy Efficiency Day 2024 conference will be held from 9:30am-3:30pm, Wednesday, 20 March 2024 at Conference Hall F3, Level 2, SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.

PE2 invites you to reserve a seat for this on-site conference.

We also invite CEO knowledge leaders in energy efficiency to take speaking slots through Platinum and Gold sponsorship packages. Bundled packages for exhibit booths at the 3-day PhilEnergy 2024 are also available.
